I’m Elemcí, an alternative-friendly wedding DJ in Hampshire, creating wedding sets for couples who want their music to actually sound like them.
That might mean Paramore into Fall Out Boy, Fleetwood Mac into Arctic Monkeys, My Chemical Romance alongside The Killers, or suddenly dropping a huge 00s pop anthem because everyone in the room is ready to scream the chorus.

Because a great wedding set isn’t about proving how alternative your music taste is. It’s about building a dance floor around the music you love while still reading the room.
DJ and live vocals for alternative weddings
I’m also a professional live vocalist, which means I can combine DJing with live singing as part of your wedding entertainment.
That works particularly well for alternative weddings because so many rock, indie and pop-punk songs have brilliant acoustic or stripped-back arrangements.
You could have live vocals during your ceremony or drinks reception before moving into a full DJ set later in the evening.
Or I can weave live vocals into the evening itself.
That could include acoustic reinterpretations, piano versions, jazz-inspired arrangements or bigger vocal moments before returning to the DJ set.
It gives you something a little different from booking a singer during the day and a completely separate DJ at night.
Instead, the entertainment can feel connected from one part of your wedding to the next.

You can send me your must-plays, your absolute do-not-plays and any songs that have a story behind them.
You can be really specific if music is a huge part of your wedding, or give me a handful of references and let me take it from there.
I don’t expect couples to predict exactly what everyone will want to hear at 10:47pm on their wedding night.
