Can you perform our first dance live?

Absolutely.

Many couples choose to have their first dance performed live to create a more emotional and memorable moment. Songs can be performed in their original style or adapted into a more cinematic, acoustic or classical crossover arrangement depending on the atmosphere you’d like to create.

I’m also happy to learn special songs for key moments where possible with sufficient notice.

Can we choose the music?

Yes — every event is tailored to you.

You’re welcome to provide:

I carefully curate each set around your preferences while also reading the crowd to keep the atmosphere flowing naturally throughout the evening.

Do you take guest requests?

Yes, guest requests are welcome unless you’d prefer otherwise.

I always balance requests carefully with the overall atmosphere and music style of your event to ensure the dance floor stays cohesive and high energy.

If there are any songs or genres you definitely do not want played, these can be discussed before the event.

How long do you perform for?

Performance lengths vary depending on the type of event and package booked.

Typical evening wedding DJ performances are up to 5 hours, with full-day wedding entertainment packages also available.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes — all professional sound and lighting equipment is included within your package unless otherwise stated.

This includes:

All equipment is PAT tested and fully insured for venue compliance and peace of mind.

Are you insured?

Yes.

I hold Public Liability Insurance (PLI), and all equipment is PAT tested. Most professional venues require this documentation, and certificates can be provided upon request.

How does booking work?

To secure your date, a non-refundable booking fee of approximately 25% is required alongside a signed booking agreement.

Bookings are managed using dedicated event booking software, making the process simple and professional from start to finish. This allows you to:

  • Secure your date online

  • Review your booking details

  • Complete payments securely

  • Submit music preferences

  • Access event information easily

Your remaining balance is typically due closer to the event date.

Why is a booking fee required?

Your booking fee secures your event date exclusively in the diary.

Once a booking is confirmed, that date becomes unavailable for other enquiries. The booking fee also covers preparation time, administration, music planning and event coordination leading up to your celebration.

How far in advance should we book?

Popular wedding dates — especially Saturdays during spring and summer — can book up well in advance.

For weddings and corporate events, booking 6–18 months ahead is recommended where possible.

However, last-minute bookings are occasionally available depending on diary availability.

What happens if equipment fails?

Professional backup equipment is carried wherever possible to minimise disruption in the unlikely event of technical issues.

Reliability and professionalism are extremely important, particularly for weddings and corporate events, so contingency planning is always part of the preparation process.
