I’m Elemcí, a Southampton-based female DJ and classically trained live vocalist who can bring personality, versatility and something a little different to your event. I provide entertainment for weddings, private parties, corporate events and themed events across Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
My approach is personal rather than package-line predictable. I work with you to create music that reflects your event, your guests and the atmosphere you want, while still using my experience to read the room and keep the energy moving.
Whether you want disco and house, pop and party classics, R&B, garage, rock, drum and bass, indie, musical theatre or a glorious mixture of everything, your event should sound like you rather than somebody else’s recycled playlist.
More Than Just a Female DJ
Female DJs are still noticeably underrepresented within many parts of the wedding and events industry, particularly on venue-recommended supplier lists.
For some clients, booking a female DJ is a deliberate choice. You may feel more comfortable working with a woman, want greater female representation at your event or simply be looking for someone who offers a different energy from the DJs you usually see advertised.
However, the right DJ is about far more than gender.
You also need someone who can communicate clearly, understand the atmosphere you want, adapt to different audiences and make confident musical decisions throughout the event.
That is the part I take seriously.
I combine thoughtful planning with the ability to respond to what is actually happening in the room. Your playlist ideas matter, but so do the unexpected songs, spontaneous requests and dance-floor moments that make an event feel alive.

One of the things that makes my service different is the ability to combine DJing with live vocals.
I am a classically trained singer with experience performing everything from opera and musical theatre to pop, disco and dance music.
Depending on your event, live vocals can be included during a drinks reception, wedding breakfast, early evening or as part of the transition into the main party.
The singing is not simply added for novelty. It can help change the energy of the room, bring guests together and create a natural bridge between different parts of the event.
