While researching recommended supplier lists across Hampshire venues, I noticed something that genuinely surprised me. Female DJs were remarkably difficult to find.

Through my work with Ever After Princess Parties, I’ve had the opportunity to entertain at children’s parties and family events across Hampshire. Over the years I’ve worked in a variety of venues, from country estates and hotels to city-centre event spaces. While my experience at these venues has been through children’s entertainment rather than DJing or live singing, they’re all venues I’ve enjoyed working at and would happily recommend for celebrations and special events. There’s no doubt technology has changed weddings. From digital invitations to online RSVPs, couples now plan huge parts of their wedding day through apps and automated systems. And recently, some wedding DJs have started turning music planning into an app-based experience too — complete with swipe-style song selection systems, algorithms and “psychology-based” playlists. On paper, it sounds modern and convenient.
